Activities Sign up info

Each day's schedule of activities will be posted below. Please sign up for any activties you wish to help with. It would be nice to have 2-3 people sign up per activity. Please sign up using the comment section, that way everyone can see what still needs to be done and we can track all communication and planning through this site. I think it will help eliminate duplicate activities, etc. The crafts/activites should be geared for children 12 and under.

There is a $50 budget for each craft. We will get a final headcount closer to the reunion. Also when you sign up, it will be the responsibility of each person in charge to provide all necessary supplies for each activity. Feel free to coordinate supplies with someone else that might be using something for another activity.

Kid's crafts
Marshmallow Shooters (Michelle Reynolds)
Boy Craft (Tenneal Howard)
Girl Craft~Crowns (Michelle Reynolds)
TBD Craft~ (Michelle Reynolds)

Kid's Games (Need 3 more)
Waterballoons (Tenneal Howard)

**The kids crafts and games will be divided. Half the kids will do a craft and the other half do a game and then switch in the afternoon.

Scott and I are going to be in charge of taking family portraits and of course we will be taking lots of candid photos. I need to figure out a schedule or something unless we just do it whenever. lol, I don't think I have ever organized anything.

Lynette,

Lets plan on sunset on Friday night for the big family photo. The lighting will be good and might be the best night that everyone is there.

I have some supplies that are left over from the last reunion. I will take inventory and let you know what I have.

I'm not sure sunset will be good lighting. we'll see. I think when the sun is straight up it won't be in anyone's face. dunno, I'll ask Scott, the magician, lol I'm totally game for anything.

Melissa - I have
12 kits to make a bug bead key
chian (ages 8 or so)
13 kits to make a bug catcher
(ages 4 or so)
12 kits to make kites w/string
probably for older kids maybe
they could have a kite flying
contest!
12 kits to make a little fish
catch game (ages 5 or so)
12 kits to make a little lady bug
catch game (ages 5 or so)
If anyone would like to use these items just let me know or I would be happy to put these activities together.

Sharon- with all those kits I think we can pull together another group and just let them choose between the crafts you already have. I can take on that group as well, and just arrange it around my other crafts. Thanks for putting together that list.

What other kids games were done last time?

We did have a watermelon eating contest for the different age groups, we split them up depending on how many kids we have and their ages. Also we had women's contest and a man's contest. It was a lot of fun. We could do this any afternoon. Just make up a sheet with the different age groups and let them sign up.

We could also have a checkers tournament I have 3 or 4 games we could use. I have some small prize gifts we could use like - card games (old maid, crazy 8') and 3 boxes of crayons and 3 boxes of colored pencils. I may have some other types of things we could use as prizes. What do you think?

I just wanted to say that I don't think sundown is a very good time for pictures unless that is done on the first day or every day because if we run out of sunlight we won't be able to finish. I'm sure we can work it all in somehow. I am so excited! mY kids are counting the days. lol

Hi Melissa,
I sent an email to you, but it keeps getting returned to me 'undeliverable'. I need a picture of Tom & Peggy for a craft I am putting together. Do you have one you could email to me? kelliann.johnson@imail.org

Thanks! Kelli
